STAFF LEVELS AND TRAINING:
Welsh’s Therapeutic Facility, LLC will have at least two staff on duty 24 hours per day 7 days per week when the clients are present. Staffing is increased based on the current resident’s needs and the level of supervision required. The ration of staff shall be adequate to meet the needs of the resident as defined in their assessment and individual service plans for the type of facility.
All staff at Welsh’s Therapeutic Facility, LLC is trained through Phoenix Care Systems University, Med Living Academy and MCFI Training as well as at least 48 hours of on the job training. In-services include:
All training must be completed within the first three months of employment. Refresher courses are required for CPR, First Aid, Medication Monitoring, Vital Signs and Assessment, recognizing and responding to challenging behaviors. In addition, extra in-services are offered throughout the year.
